Waipori Scheme Outage

Feldspar Associates was contracted by Inovo Projects to provide Outage Manager sub-consultant services at Waipori Hydro Scheme, Otago, working three days per week from November 2021 to March 2022. The scope included managing the outage programme on-site, overseeing schedule adherence, reporting deviations, and proposing solutions to keep the project on track. Feldspar was responsible for receiving and cross-checking cost reports from project managers and producing consolidated weekly outage reports for Inovo. They were also tasked with liaising with multiple stakeholders, ensuring proper isolation and permitting procedures, and refining reporting systems for best practice. Overall, their role blended programme-level oversight, collaborative stakeholder engagement, and detailed progress monitoring to support the successful delivery of the Waipori outage programme.
