King's High School and Otago Hockey Turf

The Otago Hockey Association and King’s High School formed a joint venture to deliver a third hockey turf with a vision for the city to host national tournaments again. In 2022, that vision was realised with Dunedin hosting the National Hockey Championship where Otago won the Tier 1 Men’s gold medal match.

Feldspar were engaged to procure a main contractor on a design and build contract to deliver the build within a nominated budget. Feldspar worked with the successful Main Contract, TigerTurf NZ, to value manage the design to deliver within budget.
