Pacific Radiology Dunedin

Feldspar Associates was responsible for Project Management and Engineer to the Contract services for Pacific Radiology Group's flagship 2,100m² facility spanning levels 4 and 5of a new  five level commercial development in Great King Street, Dunedin.

The project represented one of PRG's largest and most technically complex facilities in the country, incorporating advanced diagnostic imaging including a PET scanner installation. Critical challenges included coordinating the tenant fitout with the base build contractor's programme, managing complex interface requirements between multiple delivery teams, and engineering design of the PET scanner facility on the fourth floor with stringent structural, shielding, and services integration requirements.

The 22-month project demanded sophisticated coordination of specialised medical equipment suppliers, base build contractors, and fitout teams while ensuring seamless integration with the landlord's delivery programme. The completed facility establishes PRG's premier diagnostic imaging centre, demonstrating Feldspar's capability in managing large-scale, technically demanding healthcare fitouts within complex multi-party delivery environments.
