Green Island Medical Centre

The project scope involved designing and constructing a modern medical centre facility with advanced specifications, including enhanced mechanical air changes and acoustic ratings in patient areas. The facility includes onsite car parking, a reception/waiting area, GP consult rooms, nurse consult rooms, triage, ambulance access, and a procedure room. Back-of-house areas feature wet/dry areas, storerooms, a staff room, a manager’s office, and a phone room.

Feldspar acted as the Client-side Project Manager and Engineer to the Contract. The role included conducting optioneering to assess whether to refurbish and extend the client's existing practice in Green Island or to purchase a site and construct a new facility. A formal business case was completed, and Feldspar provided due diligence input on potential sites in the Green Island area.
